Our team strives to have a great time focusing on our mission to provide eye care second to none and have an enjoyable time doing it. It is not uncommon to see team members hum a tune, bop their head to music or take a little dance step, all at the same time addressing our patients eye care needs.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We seek energetic and ambitious individuals who are outgoing, FRIENDLY, proud of their work and enjoy interacting with the public. We keep an upbeat and happy working environment and strive to surround ourselves with staff members espousing a similar attitude. Employee must be a TEAM PLAYER who is responsible for their own work and requires minimal supervision. Due to the nature of our mission, low employee turnover is necessary. This position is a fast paced one which necessitates the need for excellent communication skills. Due to the ever growing use of technology in eye care, especially computer based technology, basic COMPUTER LITERACY IS REQUIRED. It is also very important that your work be done efficiently and without error. COMFORT WITH MATH IS ESSENTIAL. Although experience does count, previous health care, optical, and/or office experience is not necessary. It is our goal to provide excellence in eye care. We strive to "Do It Right The First Time" and to nurture the trust every patient gives us thus forging a bond that will result in a lifelong doctor-patient relationship. For this to succeed, a close relationship must exist between all TEAM members of our staff. They must be able to thoroughly follow directions. They must also, in their own way, contribute to the overall betterment of our practice. We do not expect perfection from the start. We do, however, expect a willingness for every team member to learn and expand their capabilities. It is our goal as an office to EXCEED OUR PATIENTS EXPECTATION EVERYDAY!
From time to time, we hire additional staff members specifically for one of our two office locations. Individuals with the flexibility to work at either facility is an asset but not a requirement unless posted as such in the specific job description. Our staff is comprised of both part-time and full-time positions.

WHAT TO EXPECT
After receiving your information, candidates may be invited to complete an electronic application. Next, select applicants are invited to an interview with one to two of our staff. Subsequently, a second skills based interview can follow. The final step for candidates progressing is a shadow session during which you spend time with a designated mentor and witnessing your position in action!
